Unrequited Love

Here's the Cole's Notes Version:

I fell in love with my roommates ex-girlfriend. I became good friends with her. Eventually told her i liked her, she said the same to me. I told my roommate, he said it was ok. Started dating her and had the single greatest date i've ever had (no date has ever touched it since). Roommate realizes he wants her back and convinces her to break up with me. They are a mess and end it in 2 days. He moves out 3 days later. She moves home for the summer and says goodbye to me in the worse way. This is all in a 3 week period.

I don't hear from her for 2 months until I get this MSN message:

(Name)...i know you're mad at me, and i'm truly sorry if I hurt you in any way...i know it's probably too late to say this, but i wanted you to know.

It gave me no closure, just made me mad.
